Contributor Guidelines

Page history last edited by Bill Maya 15 years ago

This wiki is meant to be a reference work, belonging to the storybuilder community, and anyone is welcome to contribute as long as they observe the basic rule of "liberty, equality, fraternity." Let's always keep the novice storybuilder in mind, preparing to make his or her first ascent in interactive storytelling. Getting everyone to the summit is our goal.

Permission Levels

There are two permission levels available at this time.

  • Writer - Writers can edit pages and revert pages to previous versions. They can also upload new files and create new pages.
  • Reader - Readers cannot make any modifications at all to the wiki, except for commenting on pages. They can view pages, RSS feeds, and files.

Reader Guidelines

  1. Let's keep debates and diatribes out of the comments. The Storytron Forums are a more appropriate venue for expressing personal opinions and points-of-view.

Writer Guidelines

  1. Please don't modify the FrontPage at this time.
  2. If you upload images or files, please be aware that we only have 2GB of storage at this time.
  3. Try and keep the tone, voice, and point-of-view consistent with that type of writing associated with a reference work.
  4. Good spelling and grammer are nice but not essential. Try your best and if by some chance you miss something, someone will probably be around sooner or later to fix it.
  5. If you break something, please try and fix it. The PBWiki manual has an Editing section for any questions about wiki formatting and you can fool around in the SandBox until you're comfortable.
